Minnesota Twins @ Chicago White Sox 0 Runs Scored in 1st Inning
Minnesota Twins @ Chicago White Sox UNDER 8 Runs
Going off stats and some history here. Santana owned the ChiSox last year and has a solid history overall against them. Despite sweeping the Royals, the White Sox offense was rather quiet and seemed to live off clutch long balls or doubles in their last 2 games. The Twins are not hitting lefties well overall on the year, and both Luis Castillo and Shannon Stewart are questionable. Castillo tweaked his leg in Sunday's game with the Angels, and Stewart left the team to be with his wife who is giving birth. Stewart's absence is huge because of all the Twins batters, he had probably the best numbers/experience against Buehrle. Thome has been the "hot hitter" so far this year for Chicago but his numbers against Johan are like 1-9 or something around that. I think Buehrle builds off his great performances lately and Johan continues his solid showings against the ChiSox. I know Johan has been struggling this year, but I bet he'll like the fact he's facing a lineup he knows he can control.
