I was going to send them a small deposit ( like $50) for the contest, and make a weekly $5 bet with them. They only pay fees on $300+. The lines kind of suck after looking at them, I remember why I don't play there, now !

The link up top doesn't work either. Very few books have a minimum free deposit, about the highest minimum deposit around is $50.

I was going to send small because I already know I don't want to play there in advance.

why not send 300$ & get a 20% bonus?

You will have 360$ in your account & will have free entry to both contests?

What's the "deposit charge" for $50.00 or $100.00?

Sounds like total bullshit.

lines aren't very good, look at hockey vig, bases goes off a dimeline around -140.

They discourage a small player from even playing there with that policy. I can't think of another book that wouldn't take $50 without a charge.

Deposit is tiny because I don't even want to bet there, keep the bonus, if I'm even eligible for it. Deposit was to meet the bet requirement only.

I gotta be honest with ya Doug, I personally feel that these forums and the books they promote all sleep together.

Many of these CR operations are all tied into one another and I have read elsewhere that the Skybook/Rio groups own a percentage of the Rx.

Of course the Mods want you to deposit $300.00 or more.

If you don't like the book why be forced to deposit more than you are comfortable with to avoid a transfer fee?

Three Hundred bucks may be chump change to some but might be diaper money to many, many more.

Feed your babies not the crooks in Costa Rica!

Doug i thought so to but i sent them a $100 via neteller and they didnt charge it was 100 and a 100 put in my account also got a 20% cash bonus for a total of 120 in account so maybe call them to double check i was not charged for a 100

Many believe an ownership tie exists between Sky and RX. It's not the money here, it's the principle. I just wanted to send a token amount for contest eligibility as I know this isn't a book I want to play at.

The deposit charge is bad business when you consider virtually no other book makes this charge. I'd change that if I ran the place. The guys that send you $100 every week or two are the ones you want to keep.

That's reasonable. They should re-word and update the site then. I'd be a little pissed if I paid RX for a banner and it doesn't link.

Kiss1 -- are you serious???

Are you saying this is a conspriacy between Rx. moderators and the Offshore sports gambling industry to get posters here to send $300 instead of $50 or $100 when they deposit at VWager?

Natrually books would rather see new players deposit a little more to help defray costs of transfering funds. Deposit and withdrawal costs are one of the highest expenses books have to deal with.

Rx. Tech support is working with Vwager to get the banner working again but it is not a conspiracy...

They have a flashing banner announcing a 3-day special, I don't think that was there when I first logged in. Deposited $100, recovered my old $0.70 balance, no bonus, but that may take awhile.

I also noticed no free withdrawals, client pays all fees. Seems like Skybook without the free half-point.

Would you rather have the posters send $50.00 or $300.00 to you sponsors? C'mon Wil, we are not fucking idiots.

Conspriacy?

Don't put words in my post that are not there. I said "sleeping together." There is a differance.

Did you move my V-Wager post last night? The other Mods said they did not?

Do any offshore books have a financial interest in the Rx???????

Kiss, that is absolutely ridiculous!

Most, if not all the contests are put together by Mods for added interest, the books almost always have very little to do with starting a contest, or have ANY knowledge about a contest until it's presented to them by one of the Mods....with your kind of attitude about contests it just makes it tougher for us to ask books to sponsor, you are way off base here.

You mention Rio/Sky the sportsbook that has given away hundreds of thousands of dollars to Rx posters....I cannot believe you're going there.

That is a slap in the face to those who try hard to help people.

It says it is, but my account is not new, it's a re-up.

My play:

TB +1.5 -120 and un 6.5 -125 5= 11.50

Good news is they take the parlay, even better...they don't steal the cents !

I don't like the wd fee, though. I've got to either run this to $2500, or lose the $100, or scalp it out to Mansion along the way somewhere if I fall out of contention in the contests.
