continuing the climb toward black. I'm brown.
1 unit:
Washington +101...Think RFK will be kinder to Patterson than to Smoltz, Wash. better at manufacturing than ATL which relies a bit more on the long ball.
Philly -1.5 +119...Lieber will pick things up tonight. Olson is in for a surprise playing in a hitter's ballpark against a desparate team.
STL -1.5 +122...Remember how intense the Cubs-STL series was in Chicago a few weeks back? Expect more of the same, except this time the games are in STL and Derek Lee is nowhere to be found. I could see a sweep here.
NYM -114...Mets' lineup has crushed against Woody in the past, even w/o Beltran I expect more of the same.
Cincy +132...Think this line is off, Sheets should be favored but not by this mujch in his 2nd start of the season. Arroyo's stuff is still filthy when he's on, and we know what the Reds' lineup can do.
Seattle -105...Washburn has dominated Detroit in the past, he's been the tough-luck loser so far this year, his fortunes could change tonight.
1/2 unit:
Washington -1.5 (+213)...See above.
Seattle -1.5 (+180)...See above.
big card, let's hope for big results.
