Patterson with 24 K's already on the year, Smoltz looked like he was in top form his last start, Braves lineup depleted -- no Chipper, no Giles, no Renteria. Washington offense is, well, the Washington offense. Not to mention playing in the spacious RFK.
Only question here IMO is can the starters go to the 7th, if either team has to get 3+ innings out of their 'pens it could get ugly. Although Atlanta's pen hasn't worked in a while, 2 consecutive CG's by Hudson and Davies with Smoltz's CG 3 starts before that...
