OT: Anyone else see that ABC Primetime show tonight on stepfamilies?

I am so pissed after watching that. If anyone else saw it, you must know what I am talking about. That second family they had on tape, the man literally physically abusing his daughter on tape, yet ABC did nothing about it?! Not to mention all the mental abuse they did to her, and that horrible stepmom who is probably mentally ill and absolutely hates her and yells and swears at her for no reason. I feel for that poor girl.

I go to the ABC message board for Primetime and I'm glad to find that I'm not alone. Everyone else who saw that is reacting the same way. I even sent an angry email of my own, something I've never done in response to a TV show before. I had a stepmom of my own, and she wasn't very nice to say the least so I guess I relate to this situation.

Anyone else catch this show and get pissed off? You have to think ABC is bound by law to show them the tape of the guy hitting his daughter. And screw Diana Sawyer for doing nothing as well, not even tearing into the parents as they showed them the footage!

Being married is a difficult proposition. Adding kids into the mix is a recipe for disaster.

I didn't see any part of it but you have to wonder if it was real or a big act; it's the trash that pulls in the ratings.

My step mom was such a bitch that I pissed in her shampoo when I was 13. Just enough to not notice it but enough to get sweet revenge.

She never found out and had a shine to her blonde hair for the duration of the bottle.

It was downright scary, like the part when the dad hits his girl and the stepmom is watching, it almost looks as if she was watching Mike Tyson beating someone, she was PICTURING HERSELF doing it by moving her arms

Funny....there must be something about that age. A complete bitch of a 6th grade teacher got the same from me in her pencil drawer & in her chair.

VERY glad to see that not only was I not the only one outraged by this, but also that ABC seems to be catching all kinds of hell for it!
