It involved alot of research and number crunching and since this was before the launch of the internet, I had to update the stats I needed manually with the boxscores from the newspaper. It became too time consuming and tedious and with the start of a new job, I just couldn't keep up.

Anyways, I was talking to my brother on the phone yesterday and I mentioned this long lost system (I'm talking mid 80's) and how I wished I could remember the formula that was involved and how easy it would be to use with all the stats and such at my fingertips on the internet. Oh, well.

This morning, I received a call from my brother with the news that he found the formula for the system at the bottom of a file box. It took me 15 minutes to make my selections. Damn, this internet is handy! lol.

Whether or not this system will work now, I have no idea. I figure it is worth a shot to find out, so I will begin posting them here today.

WARNING: I am not betting these plays and I'm posting them for tracking purposes only.

All plays 1-3 units and lines from Pinnacle.

3 Pirates +141
3 Giants +103
3 Royals +190
2 Reds +110
2 Orioles +157
1 Nationals +114

can u explain the system a little bit? I am glad you noticed this about the Dogs . I have often noticed they do seem to do well on the weekends for some reason and Vegas inflates the favorites line becuase I think they realize most baseball action is done on the weekends and of course the PUblic is usually on that side.

As in the case of playing all dogs, you're playing some piss poor teams everyday. Not for the faint of heart, especially when on a losing streak. I would rather not go into details about the stats I use and the inner workings of the system. I do use power ratings and I would say that easily over 50% of the system plays against the line. It's actually a two step process, with the first involving the more common stat handicapping followed by line evaluation. </TD></TR><TR UNSELECTABLE="on" hb_tag="1"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 1pt" height=1 UNSELECTABLE="on">

I just loosely converted this dog system to today's NBA and it gave me Denver. Lol, I already have a bet on the Clippers.

Went back thru yesterdays games and the system went 4-2 +5.45 units. That's encouraging, but of course, long term is what we're looking for and I'll keep the posts coming as long as it looks like it my be of some value.
