all while the owners keep stuffing their pockets with revenue sharing money and passing up the great players in the draft because they don't want to pay them.

Why would they pass on the great players in the draft? It's my understanding that most players play their first few years in the majors at under $1m with the exception of the very very elite (David Ortiz I recall was playing for $700k or something until this year?)
