I won with these guys on Friday as a dog. It got me thinking that I really don't know how to pick out teams that are dogs that should win. I think it could be profitable if I could start picking the big dogs.

Philly is just not scoring much lately and have only won 2 out of their last 6 games. They have scored 4 runs or less in 4 out of their last 5 games. Myers has been pitching well for Philly but his team has not been supporting him when he is pitching.

Mitre has been pitching decently for Florida with the exception of 1 game where he gave up 5 earned runs. I feel he should do well against the slumping Philly bats.

I think the Fish have the confidence that they can win this game, This price is too good to pass up.

I also like the following game but at +116 I thought it wasn't much of a dog.

Cin +116 over Mil
Claussen/Bush
Claussen has been keeping his ERA down and Cincy is playing well, winning 4 out of their last 5 including the last 2 against Milwaukee. The Brew Crew is in a slump winning only 3 times in their last 10 games.

What the hell, here are a couple more (I was going to limit it to 1 dog per day).

AZ +128 over LAD
Batista/Seo
I think Batista can put together a game that can beat Seo.

Bal +155 over NYY (2 units)
Cabrera/Chacon
Baltimore has won 7 out of their last 9 and those were against the Angels, the streaking Tribe and the Yanks yesterday. This is also too good of a price to pass up for this team. Cabrera has settled down after his 1st game where he gave up 7 earned runs.
