you would have thought he pulled a grenade out of his mouth and threw it at crawford the way tirico and walton went on and on about it.

it was stupid , but take it easy ....

IMO what he did was just as offensive as taking a swing (and missing) at the ref. It's a form of assault.

FYI:

Haslems interview he said he did lose his temper and he did throw his mouthpiece, but he was not trying to hit the ref or else he would of tried to get a little more air under it. He said he watched it back on TV and he understands that it looks like he was throwing it at the ref, but he threw it at the ground. He said if he was the ref and he saw the mouthpiece near his feet on the ground he probably would of ejected the player too and thought they were throwing it at him. Reporter asked if he saw the ref, if he would apologize, he said yes he would apologize. He added he would never push, punch or throw anything at a ref and those that know him know that that is not how he is.

Just passing that along to those interested.
