Millennium changes teaser odds - not as good

I liked playing the 6 pt 2 team teasers for hoops at - 120, but now that they have moved it to 5.5 points - 120 I will not play many teasers if any for basketball at Millennium anymore. Really not any value now. Just playing ML's or ML parlays will probably be more common for me. I will be taking most my money out of Millennium now. I will play probably 95% less teasers at Millennium now.:cryingcry

Millennium keeps the money on a push & loss in a 2-team teaser. Thats a big time rip-off.

A lot of books do the same. Any loss is a loss.

Olympic:

Any one loss constitutes a loss.
If a selection in the teaser is a push, the teaser will drop to the next
lower level if a lower level is offered for that particular teaser. A push in a two team teaser without a loss will make the entire bet a push.


Hollywood:


19) Football teasers: In case of No Action or a Tie on any game in a 3 team teaser or more, the teaser automatically reverts down to the next lowest number of teams. (4 team teaser with a tie becomes a 3 team teaser). Any two team teaser with a winner and a tie or no action is considered a tie. Any loss in a teaser is a loss. Basketball teasers: In case of a tie or no action in a game, the same rules applicable to football teasers apply to basketball.

Wil is right, Chuck Sims. The majority of online books (probably the VAST majority) treat a Tie and a Loss as a Loss.

2-team teaser with a loss & push is "no action" at Pinnacle. At WSEX a loss & push is "no action". All Las Vegas books its graded "no action" Its a RIP OFF to grade it a loss.

Street bookies have ripped off the squares for years with that rule. These off-shore books should not be allowed or at least be called out for ripping off the squares.

Millennium is offering 3% interest per month and a 15% Bonus Play if you freeze your account. Can unfreeze at football or later. If you unfreeze before football you don't get the interest, etc. Not a bad deal at all. Would like to have the teaser odds back, but I'll take some of that interest and Bonus Play.

I disagree with you...I think it makes perfect sense that a 2 team teaser with a push and a loss is graded as a loser... ANY multiple selections wager with a loss should be a loser... the fact that Pinnacle and WSEX have a special rule, probably just to attract customers, doesn't mean that everybody else is trying to rip customers off ... actually why should a push and a loss be graded as a push when a win and a loss is graded as a loser???

You say its a "special rule" to grade a push in a 2-team teaser as "no action". No clerk, its called Las Vegas rules.
I know back in the day the Horseshoe would have $350,000 in teasers tied into the MNF game. Are you trying to say its fair if the first game of the teaser is a push that the sportsbook would have a free $350,000 roll vs the bettors? clerk, you're not thinking clearly.

Actually that works both ways. Say the first leg is a loss - so now the book has to root for the second half to either win or lose but not push to collect?

Chuck, in just about every book I know of- teaser rules are "loss" wether it be combined with a push or not- any "loss is a loss"
and more than 1/2 the books will grade a "push" as a loss - this rule applies in about 1/2 the books for their "special teaser rules-which includes 2teams"
Milenium is very fair by calling a push and a win a "push" - my opinion only

BetDon and Wagerweb has some of the best teaser options available.They offer up to 16pts in baskets and up to 21pts in foots and ties are always a push...I would never play @ a book that counts ties as a loss no matter what the teaser is.

Halifax,I played a sh*tload of 21pt teasers @ BetDon this past football season and still playing their 16pt b-ball teasers and trust me,ties = push on all of them.....I went to Betdon and saw what you posted but if you look just above the teaser odds it says "ties = push"

You're not wrong about that, but the main discussion in the thread was about 2-team teasers and how different books handle a "Push + Loss" on a 2-teamer ... some books grade it as a Push, some books grade it as a Loss ... Wagerweb apparently grades it as a Loss (at least on Football teasers, they do).
