Glavine has allowed one earned run in his last 14 innings
Glavine's command has been on point this season, with a little edge, as evidenced by the 16 strikeouts over his last two starts. He was 1-1 with a 1.98 ERA last season in two starts against the Giants.

Cain is struggling in the early going, victimized by big innings and erratic pitching. He has great stretches at times with a clutch of strikeouts, but then falters. Cain hasn't gone beyond the fifth frame in his last two games, although he says his command is still there.

Laying off. Every square in the world will be on the Mets. There has to be a reason this line is so low that we in forumville don't know about but you can bet the books sure do.

PS, SF is VERY good at hitting lefthanders. Just haven't done it in their limited atbats this year.

I definately think the books know more than we do. There is only one reason they'd put out a line that screams "bet on me I'm easy money" like this one does. They want guys on NY.

One thing that concerns me is the Mets Offense. They have been
underacheiving lately. Glavine has been good!

I agree about the line. It does scream bet Mets and that

With ya on Rocks +142. Has good value for sure. My personal line was -120 Phillies so the Rocks are a nice bet according to where I thought the line should be.

LOL Vegas isn't in this business for simply setting people up on bets they only want to even off the action taken..They really want to have the same amount of bets on a game especially if it's a pick em..

dont ever use the words "Vegas" and "only wants" in the same line ever again.

Vegas sets up sucker bets in everything they do. They WANT you to believe what you are saying is true. From prop bets, to craps, to blackjack, to slot machines, Vegas wants to make as much money as humanly possible in any way, shape or form they can.

Are you okay? They take action and that's it bottomline...they are human like we are they don't know anything different from the next person calling in a bet..I work in Las Vegas for 6 years in the Off Shore Sports betting Account Department..They are in it for the Juice not gambling so think what you want to think I know I have been around it and learnt a ton about what Vegas is doing. If they were in it to just gamble they would be broke. Why don't you think they make the rules up in every game or sports bet?

Hi,

when i read all your stats above and consider glavine's recent performance and cain being a gas can, so the line should be about -140 and not only -116.

I don't know, but this line smells to me. That is the problem with such games: There is absolutely not one single reason to take Giants, but that's the reason they will probably win tonight. I agree with everything you said, but i will stay away.

The entire Rockies team is being hammered by the flu, one of the reasons Phillies are a big favorite here.

Please tell us guru, who in the hell are betting on the Giants, with seemingly everyone on the planet on Mets. What "moron" is throwing down thousands to keep this line in check for the Giants, with seemingly no reason to be on them?
