After yesterday's fiasco, I was hoping that my realtionship with Nine would still be the same. I am a $100 bettor. I use them when I find a good line there. I won about $1,000 dollars in Feb/March and deposited again April $500 and now it is at $970. 99% of my plays are $100 plays. So it has been a girnd that i am proud of.

Well today I make my first plays since the incident and now I am on a delay. I have placed hundreds and hundreds of bets there and never once have I been on a delay. I contacted them and the Live chat guy (andrew) says that I can call in my bet if i don't like the delay or it maybe a glitch in the software but won't tell me if it is ingoing problem. He does say there are busy right now (it's monday at 1:30, c'mon).

Am I being unfair about this or am I being "red flagged" ? I have done nothing but defend this company since day 1. Yesterday Rick insists that he e-mailed when I 100% did not recieve an e-mail about my cancelled wager, now today I am being told that the site is very busy. Like I said yesterday (and if you know me from posting), I am not trying to cause a problem or run anyone into the ground but I do not appreciate being lied to and I hope I am not. Please just tell me the truth and me and my big (LOL) $100 plays will move on elsewhere.

Rx, if this common business practice with them(it seems like others continue to say it is) than there is no price high enough to be affliated with them. If this is just a mistake on there part than I apologize but I feel that it is my obligation to bring something like this up if I am being told one thing and it is not the truth.

Ice man - why not call Rick. I sent you his extension yesterday. He will explain exactly when they sent you the email Sunday morning and let you know if there is any kind of delay on your account. Do you want me to send you another copy of ther cancellation email that was sent to your Comcast email address?

I guess I will have to this afternoon(have to go back to work). Just seems awfully ironic after yesterday.

Kind of wondering if anyone else is getting the same screen (delay). Would help answer alot of questions.

I just resent all the information necessary to the two email addresses I have for you. One is the same one Nine.com sent the cancellation email to - I also resent a copy of that message.

That book will do everything in their power to aggravate you, or whatever it takes for them to only cater to losers.

I got the same shit from the CSR, telling me it was a glictch in the software, WHAT BULLSHIT!! if you're going to be a paranoid shit book afraid to take action, then at least admit it to your client. The software excuse is a bit lame.

Yea, they will let you call you're bet in, but then you are on hold longer than it takes for your bet to clear online. Then, when they get off their coffee break, and get back to confrim your wager, they move the fucking line 5 points and sometimes more.

a truely pathetic excuse for a sportsbook. AVOID AT ALL cost. What little bonus they gave me was not worth my hassle.:finger:

This book is absolute GARBAGE!!!

I had the same problem with them back in November. They wouldn't let me bet online on a busy Saturday. They did straighten it out eventually after talking to Mason on the phone for a half hour. They did put my limits online at 500.

Haven't played there since Feb and will not go back. They would be extremely slow on the phone too, I'm trying to bet a 2nd half and they would be dicking around. Very aggravating.

I just spoke to Nine.com and they checked Ice Man's account and he is not on any kind of prearranged delay or "red flag". There have been some sattellite isssues this morning at Nine and perhaps that was the cause for the delay that he experienced. The two bets requested were both aprroved at the number requested. No changes were made to either bet Ice Man made - delay or no delay.

Ice Man, why don't you call Rich - he said he would be happy to speak with you? You can find out for yourself firsthand.

just got off the phone with him and he said they are having trouble with some satellite and should be okay later today/tomorrow.

Would love to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

As for Nine, i guess we will chalk it up to a technical problem. I am sorry if I jumped to any conclusions. You have to admit seemed a little odd that I had this situation the day after our ordeal.

I still plan on playing there and promise this won't change my opinion of them. They seemed to be useful for someone like myself who is only playing a $100 a play. I really do like the book and would love to still use them as one of my outs. I use them quite a bit and plan on continuing to use them daily.

Thanks Wilheim. Hope I didn't come across as being to pushy. Just trying to get answers. Thanks

Honestly I would also include the fact that many ISP's in the US are using spam filters that might affect delivery of email from here. Verizon is the number one culprit but on the same line comcast and other big ISP's such as AOL etc have spam filters set in such a way that many books from here simply cant deliver an email to an AOL/Comcast etc subscriber

Ahhh yes Grand Central Sports...the kings of the phone calls...they would call players on the phone morning, noon and night...did not know they were still in business. Would definitely stay away from any shop they are affiliated with.

VIP has a high rating, but they go along with what others have said in this thread...

They are suited for regular players.

So GC sports is not affiliated with Nine then?
