I grew up in Pittsburgh and had an uncle who worked 16 hours a day in the steel mills. To relax after work he lifted weights and drank beer - at the same time! When I was 14 he decided to "make a man out of me" by forcing me to drink my fill of Iron City. After about 6 of them I remember the room spinning around before I passed out. I didn't have another beer for 5 years.
National Bohemian was based out of Baltimore...when I was a kid I lived about 2 miles from the brewery and you could smell that place from two miles away at night...brings back memories, I can still smell that smell if I think about it.
Also Carling's Brewery and Tuborg were brewed in Baltimore.
Only beer I have really liked was Miller Lite and Budweiser.
My grandfather use to drink Pabst and Red White and Blue...cheap beer, he drank all the time.:drink: My earliest memories sitting at the kitchen table with him listening to Orioles games....
LOL, he would let me sip his beer at age 9-10
