Mansion requires a drivers license before payout???

I was getting ready to set up an account and noticed that they require a copy of a drivers license before a payout. I am a verified neteller member. I am a little hesitant to provide a copy of my license. Do they really require one?

They are very quick about making the payouts once you have given them the info they requested. A most dependable book in my estimation.

yea. most poker sites do too i think. I know i had to with Pacific...and maybe another site or two...not sure.

I sent a copy to them when I first signed up...they're a reputable book for sure...not a big deal IMO...

yeah, exactly.

although i will add this...after i sent in my drivers license i got an email back from them saying that it wasn't sufficient since it didn't match my current address. my DL is from texas, but i'm currently living in D.C...

they told me they wanted me to fax them a utility bill showing my current residence...

i fucking lost it! i called them up and went off on the poor guy on the phone! i was seriously pissed. they already had my valid drivers license on file and then tried telling me that wasn't enough! i wasn't about to send them anything else and i let them know it...

they backed down and immediately registered my account for withdrawals, so in the end, it was all good.

that aside, i absolutely love mansion. they are one of my favorite books (along with pinny, cascade, matchbook and hollywood). i would recommend mansion to anyone who will listen.

Why don't they simply ask for a utility bill instead of a driver's liscense?
I will never give my driver's lisc. info to strangers. Sorry---NO CAN DO.

I will never understand why if you DEPOSIT VIA neteller and neteller has already verified you that you need to then send all this crap DL, Utility bill, library card to the book..

they should JUST PAY INSTANTLY thru neteller the same way the Instantly TOOK the money when you deposited

SIMPLY stuff IMO

Maybe im in the minority here but I will not play at a book where I need to do that

I want simply Instant 100% HASSLE FREE W/d and Deposits

i agree, but there's nothing we can do about it. i used NT with them and still had to provide a drivers license (like everyone else)...

they said it had to do with their licensing agreement in gibralter, that they have to have documented evidence of your personal information/address.

it clearly states this on their website, so i knew what i was getting into when i signed up...

i still LOVE the book (well, the exchange, you know what i mean).

I know that Bodog makes you send in some sort of credit card verification form with a copy of your CC front and back along with your driver's license. This is if you use your CC to make a deposit. Nothing needed if you used NETeller.

the reason is that some gaming jurisdictions require it, period.

(Agree, not every sportsbook under such laws and most aren't so those that aren't really don't need it but with the ongoing fraud in all fronts it makes sense for the company to implement as many security checks they can think of)

the reason i was given was that is was solely due to their licensing regulations in gibralter...

that's why the need a DL or passport to be verified for even neteller withdrawals.

I 100% agree too if you deposit by neteller you should be allowed to withdraw by neteller 100% hassel free. I usually email the book before I deposit to see what they're policy is about this and if they require an ID I dont bother with em.

But I will add I would'nt mind at all if you deposit by some other method or withdraw by another method.
