What I meant was they gave Bonds a free pass while there was a man on first, you dont see that often, usually first base is open to walk the batter. Actually I dont think I have ever seen an intentional walk with a man on first!!

When Bob Brenley was the manager of the D-Backs, he intentionally walked Barry Bonds with the bases loaded once.

I don't think he was, MLB.com shows him going to second on the walk.

Chop, I do remember that, few and far between though.

Okay, I see what you're saying, but I think Omar was on 2nd base.

Right team wrong manager. It was Buck Showalter who walked bonds with the bases loaded.

2 reasons why they did this. First of all, 2 seasons ago teams did this to Bonds about 5 times throughout the year.

The first reason was becauset the count was 2-0 before they issued the free pass. Next reason is because ALOU is hitting around .200 right now

I am on the Giants...and I could NOT believe Randolph ordered Heilman to "4" Bonds there...Alou has been hot...had already done damage tonight...and Randolph asks for some more...thank you very much!

Been saying it over and over again. These managers have no clue. They are walking Bonds for no apparent reason. Just another night in Giants baseball. These managers may very well walk the Giants right into the Division title, thank you.

Bonds isn't batting his weight yet and he gets an IW.

I heard on the radio tonight that Hank Aaron got 230 intentionals for his career. Bonds is at 730 and counting. that alone should wash any complaints about his roid usage right there!

He hasn't been given enough of an opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
