HR game over. What a fucking loser.

Him and Matt Clement, and Ace Young should open a gay bar.

Brad Lidge would be best used as a set up man. One of the worst closers in the game currently. Not thee worst, but bottom 5 of league. You must have more than one pitch in your arsenal to be a good closer and all he has is a slider. All the rest of his stuff is shit. Hitters are keying in on that slider and well the rest is history. Playoffs last year, so far this year, blew the game today. Your starter goes 7 innings of 1 hit ball and you lose by 4 is unacceptable. I had Dodgers + $$$ and once Lidge was in the game in the top of the 9th with a 2-1 lead, I marked down my bet as a win. 6-2 Dodgers Final. :missingte

The guy was lights out and filthy in the 2004 playoffs. To say he is a terrible closer isnt fair.

You didn't mark it a win till Lofton came up and drew a walk. Then Lidge proceeded to go 0-2 to Drew, who then drew a walk himself. That's when you could mark it a W. Lidge has had some rough outings, hit or miss outings. The second runners came on base he lost all focus. Nomar on the other hand, talk about clutch. Guys played 1 game this year, and in the 9th inning hits a grand slam to some 97 mph chuck on a full count? DAMN

enjoy it...it may be all you get as he will have a hangnail or a pimple or something and end up back on the dl. he is a good hitter when he plays. however, if you do the math you'll see that he is overpaid. i think he made $157,834 per rbi with the cubs.

With our options at first being Olmedo "The Tomato" I can't play everyday Saenz, and No-Power Loney from triple AAA, I'll take Nomar even if that means he needs 2 days off a week to stay healthy.

see what you think when he tears a pancreous or something and is sitting on the bench eating sunflowers seeds the rest of the year. whatever the dodgers are paying him...its too much.

Who would have thought the star of that trade between Cubs/Red Sox could be Matt Murton.
