Photoshop. The moon is about 5-8 times too big.

Nice shot of the plane though. That tail's huge!

I don't wanna sound like a snobbish geek, but take it from an astrophoto amateur, the moon is absolutely enlarged several times. You try and compose a shot of a huge plane with the moon in the background. The moon would be much smaller. Not a big deal, it's a great image, but it was altered.

Ever seen the harvest moon? At times it is HUGE-absolutely incredible looking.

Matt:

A picture like this would be possible if taken with a telephoto lens. That would increase the image of the moon. This would then be taken while the plane was flying beside the moon.
