Well in some respects it is.

I would personally try to find the highest paying slot/video payback machine in the highest denomination possible.

Work the two together in a nice compromisable situation..........high denomination/good payback.

good payback doesn't really help you much as the vig will eat away your bankroll if you don't hit something big. Do or die is definitely the way to go unless you like playing slots anyway. You will not need to hit anything substantial on the $100 coin machines. Cash out when you are up enough to make it worthwhile. You may get lucky and win big bucks also.

Right, exactly........and why one should be playing minimum $5 machines at the very least and probably higher as you suggest.
