Thursday's MLB...

Yesterday went 3-1 and win 980. Had the D-Rays part of the equation figured out right but the gotdamn Yankees continue their struggles at night. Who was Wang to be favored 5-to-2 or more over anyone at night??? Now 4-4 and down 386 in 2006 bases.

In fact, was gonna sit it out altogether according to what I had here. But the Yankees are gonna try to lay 255 again? Why? Let's try the correlated thing again, this time I'm gonna include the D-Rays on the ML, left 'em out last night... Guccione the HP ump, he's done 6 overs in last 7 Yankee games, as well as an OVER in Hendrickson's only start with him behind the dish...

I'm still debating on the OVER in KC. Vanover's 3-1 O/U mark is fueled by a 60.5 strike percentage so it looks good. Of course, remember in the past, this guy's name has been VanUNDER in the past for his penchant of calling the high strikes. His strike percentage has increased by a half-percent each of his last two outings. Still, it's tough to bet OVER with Vanny's past and with two teams who are struggling vs LHP... pass...

Oh, VanUNDER is definitely one of the more pitcher-friendly umps in the league, despite today being his fifth straight OVER to open the season.
The league has been playing a joke with him this year with some of these pitching matchups he's gotten (Lackey-Pineiro, with Lackey's ERA in past April's?; Davies-Cain in Frisco the night the game was delayed 2 hours by rain and didn't start til after midnight EST; struggling Suppan-Oliver Perez [rocky start]; Claussen-Bush [Reds game, does anyone really want to make THEM go UNDER?] and now today, two winless starters....
