have a busy day friday, so i thought i would post my picks for friday on thursday night.
my thursday plays are looking good, should come out on the plus side for the day.
now onto fridays action..
cubs -140 vs milwaukee...........maddux (4-0, 0.99), has been great so far this year. i guess you could say he is due for an average outing, and you might be right, but i would expect that to come on the road and not in front of the home folks. of course you have the wrigley field factor too, lets hope the wind is blowing in. i just cannot pass up maddux at home at this price right now.
st louis -161 vs washington.......i kind of hate doing this before knowing the results of the game thursday night, but it really don't matter. once again, very hot team vs very cold team at the hot team. does not seem like too heavy of a favorite for me, although this is about the limit i like when taking favs on a straight bet.
phillies -148 vs pittsburgh..............going against maybe the worst team in baseball other than kansas city. phils seem to play better on the road so far this year and they have their most consistent pitcher in myers throwing for them. only thing going for the bucs is playing at home and i am not so sure that is any advantage at all. don't think the fans in pittsburgh care that much anymore.
