Just a monster day yesterday, completely amazed really and couldn't be much happier. On to the weekend series, 14 remain as STL knocked down Wash on the fade yesterday. The last series set went 14-1 with only ATL going down. Pitt was also on the road and never covered the -1.5, but I faded them and cashed it, 8 unit swing due to the fade.

Actually this weekend's series look the best to me since I started following this.

I won't be playing:
Minnesota AT Detroit.....Minn didn't show much heart vs KC
Mariners AT Orioles.......Just think O's are better, don't know if SEA can score enough
Rangers AT Inidans.......No real reason, think TEX can win but CLE bats scare me after last night

Dodgers AT Padres
D-Backs AT Giants....I don't like the NL West teams

Blue Jays at Yankees scares me but Halladay vs Wright tonight so hopefully they close it out early.

I see a good weekend ahead

Those are some of the same series that concern me. I do think Minny, LAD and Sea can pull one from their opponents. Each of their opponents stink. Should be fun. Hopefully we can knock down 6 or 7 of the 14 today.

Just got home from work. I had almost exactly the same thing as you do except I faded mil (on cubs) and faded sea (on baltimore). Milwaukee horrible road team, seattle is just playing horrible and baltimore is awesome at home lately. I hope we won't have another weekend woes.

Just wanna add I played Tor and CWS ML. Angels and oakland tend to play a lot of 1-run games.

Thanks, I imagine you were on that sweep as well, no? I thought about fading Mil, but not Sea. I think Balt is garbage (although I think Sea is worse). Let's hope they split and both teams cash for us. Oak has been playing a TON of close games of late. I think 4 of their last 6 have been 1 run games with a 5th going to extras.

Yeah, but I didn't have the balls to risk 8* on game 4. I play more when I think a team will win. I do put some capping into this. Not just strictly follow the 1-2-4 rule. One thing I do follow is this: pick a road team or home team then stick to them until they win. Game 2 bet size is always larger than for game 1 (not necessarily double). Same thing with game 3.

Got it. I didn't double last weekend when we had the awful start. But when I went back and calculated what it should have been, with the doubling, and realized it was only -3 units on a 10-5 series set, I figured I would roll the dice going forward. It paid off this time, I am sure it will happen again and not pay off as well.

Yeah, not looking great. Someone emailed me today and ran a spreadsheet of the breakdown of profits based on the first and second series of the week and the first series was significantly better than the second when you took the visitors. There may be something to what you say.

So far looks like we've burned bad on back-to-back Fridays. Not a complete sweep this Friday but still pretty bad. Oakland and Tor are looking good. I thought we would have gotten Mets as well but Chipper hit a 2-run bomb off Pedro. Lets hope the late games fare better.

BTW, I played Jays ML because I also played the over 9.5. Too much conflict if I play RL.

Oakland and Anaheim bullpens are nails. Also, when I fade anaheim, I play half on 1st 5 innings and half on whole game. I watched anaheim play a lot. When a team got a great bullpen, if you're betting against them, bet 1st 5 innings. Normally, they don't allow runs after the 6th inning. So it's something you might want to consider.
