Rays and O went down in flames last night (parlay worked out good the other way, home and U)...
I'll start counting the parlays as wins and losses, too, so 0-3 last night and lose 305. Now 4-7 and down 691 this week and for 2006 bases.
Maddux owns the Brew Crew in recent years and this price is overly generous, even without Barrett and Lee. As long as the old man is rollin like this, I'm not gonna try to beat him. He is 4-0 with a 0.99 ERA! Since 1997, he's 12-3 vs. MIL with a 2.16 ERA. His team has gone 16-4 in all his starts against MIL.
He's had great movement on his pitches. The Chubs have taken seven of the last nine against the Beermen at home. They are also 10-4 vs. RHP and a very impressive 8-1 after a loss in '06. Bush has 2 road starts (0-1, 7.50 ERA). Why is this so cheap?
The RL is overly generous as well. Let's try it this way.
The plays: CUBS -133 - 133 to win 100 ... and ...
CUBS RL +170 - 200 to win 340 ... both at Pinnacle.
Cards/Nats tonight, Davidson goes behind the plate for the league-leading seventh time in 2006; he's always been a pitcher-favoring ump. Two of his first three went over but one of them was Pettitte's first start, where his ERA was higher than his age against the Marlins. Davidson's two STL games both went UNDER last year, as did 2 of his 3 WASH games... One of the STL games was Marquis losing to Glavine at Shea, 2-0 (only time he's done Marquis OR Armas)...
No Rolen tonight, adding more value to UNDER. I'll bite there, and as long as the Nats keep losing, why not go with the HOME and UNDER parlay?
Let's try this always-risky run-line and back it up with the parlay:
The plays: STL -1.5 runs plus 134 at Pinny - 100 to win 134
UNDER 9 -115 at CRIS - 345 to win 300
2 team parlay - STL ML -164 and UNDER 9 -130 at PINNY - 200 to win 369.61
Back later tonight with some more bets after the rest of the UMPS come out. I'll be in the bushes with mykesy stalking them later on, about 5:30 Eastern. Some tempting guys due out there tonight.
GL!
