They really were bailed out, they intended to play defense down to the end of the shot clock, they really would not have had time....S.A. really played awful on the final possession.

What a ball game!

I have no clue... What was SA thinking? I was confused on why he drove to the basket wiht 7 seconds left.

Just dribble it down to 1 sec on shot clock and shoot a 30 footer... If the ball hits the rim the game is over. If not misses there is 1-2 sec left in the game.

They should have just stood at half court and threw up a shot just before the shot clock expired. Game over

Exactly! I couldn't believe my eyes...I couldn't believe the Kings decided to let the clock go , it was like a Twilight Zone episode ...and miraculously the ball ended up in the Kings hands.

I couldn't figure why no one on TV mentioned it either. :icon_conf

I'm waiting for a team to get the ball and just heave it up in the air as far as they can as the shot clock expires. Takes a couple of seconds to go up and a couple to come down. Don't they have to wait for the ball to land somewhere before it's a violation since a "shot" is in progress?

I need to coach an NBA team just to do that.

This is exactly what I would do, I have often said this , you could easily blow 3 seconds that way...the ball would have to hit the rim though or it would be reset...if the ball hit the rim it would count.

I have thought about that numerous times. The only thing close was when Magic threw the ball slowly down court as time expired years back.
