Wow

I just posted a "bye bye" note on the "official" board and was totally shut down. I think they set a record for how quickly a post can be deleted.

Want evidence of the current interest in the Texans?

I have 4 Club I PSLs for which I paid $8,400. Yes, I know I am an idiot. Anyway, I am trying to sell them on Ebay - with a $250 minimum bid and no reserve. and I have NO BIDS. NONE. I can't give these PSLs away.

What more evidence do they need that no one cares about the team? They don't want any other Club I PSL holders to know that their PSLs are worthless and the tickets are overpriced.

What a pathetic franchise

Listen Up Texans Fans...

I'm a Pittsburgh Steeler fan to the core. We have had a lot of BAD years in my lifetime. We almost lost our team due to relocation (would've absolutely crippled the economy of Pittsburgh, believe it or not) and are VERY near losing our storied hockey club.

You guys have no idea how lucky you are to have had a team move and almost instantly grab an expansion franchise. I've been a Penguins season ticket holder for quite a while, and it looks like we'll lose my team and REALLY F up a lot of the progress we've made in developing downtown.

Listen, Reggie Bush is a special player. Mario Williams is a special player. Houston has done a great job of bringing in FOOTBALL people. They looked at the team and made a solid decision.

In the last few years, we've made some questionable draft picks with earli(er) selections. Casey Hampton? What a big fat load with no atheletic ability! Lo and behold, he's one of the premier 3-4 nose guards in the NFL in a matter of a couple seasons. Imagine the top-name talent we passed up. We grabbed Roethlisberger mid-1st round, a guy that EVERYONE was down on. He won us a Super Bowl that we've been craving since before I was born.

Football people know football. Houston has good football people. I promise you all that this is the right pick.

This is coming from a yank who absolutely despises the south, specifically Texas, just do not understand the culture or the people, no matter how hard I try. I WANT to see every failed franchise lose. I'm watching my #1 team of all time slip through my fingers with the Pens. It hurts so badly that only people like old Oilers fans can appreciate.

Please, don't take this with any offense. Houston made the right move and this team is going to be a winner. The marquee names don't matter. Look who won us the SB... Hines Ward? Late round pick who nobody wanted. Super Bowl MVP. Ben Roethlisberger? Small school QB who nobody was as high on than the big name (Manning). Casey Hampton. Antwaan Randle El, a QB turned receiver who nobody wanted to look at. Jeff Hartings, a G turned C who DETROIT -- The lowly Lions -- turned away.

Football people run the Steelers.

Football people run the Texans.

You guys are in good shape with the Williams pick.

I hope you prove every single Bush booster wrong this year and make the playoffs, and I will be watching closely to see what happens.

Good luck, and thanks for supporting football in a city that got ROBBED of a lot of history. Hope to hear your thoughful replies soon.

Max - as bad as they needed defense, wouldn't it make more sense to trade down a spot or two and draft the OL Ferguson? I believe he is the best player in the draft, and he would solidify the OL for 10 years.

I really believe that they did try to trade down...but the Owner mandated that they have the pick signed before the draft..
