What happens to bettors if a local gets pinched?

When the feds pinch local what do they do to the bettors? Has anyone heard any stories of the feds doing anything?

Nothing that I'm aware of. My locals back in Bensalem, PA had a run on them about 7-8 years ago and I or anyone that I knew of that played through him were contacted. Then again it was local and state authorities that did the dirty work.

Never heard of a problem for the bettors. However, if you won that day, don't expect to get paid.

i think nothing happens. from what i understand, it is not illeagal to place a bet, but it is illeagal to accept a bet.

Nothing happens to the players, been there done that.

Maker got pinched once long ago, and i was owed a nice figure, the next night some lady called me, and we met, and she paid me in Full.
