Are they really this bad? under .400 and 3-11 on the road. I know Santana has been spotty until his last start, but is the rest of the team as bad as their record?

Based on this I may have to start fading them in my system.

AEQR, AEQRA: EQR and EQRA, adjusted for strength of schedule: the
quality of their opponent's pitching and hitting. If AEQR is higher than EQR,
the team has faced better than average pitching; if AEQRA is higher than EQRA, the team has faced worse than average hitting.

based on the equation for that... they should be (before today's result):

8.6-13.4 as opposed to their 9-13 record.

A 72 and 90 team. One dominating pitcher, weak hitting and marginal team speed. Decent closer.

I wouldn't necessarily fade them, but definitely look twice at their series. I didn't play them against Detroit. They can't hit the damn ball, and until they prove otherwise, I can't put money on them.

Probably the 3rd worst team in the AL right now along with Tampa and Kansas City. Tampa may be better than them.

Same results I am coming too. I would put Sea down the bottom with them as well, they also stink.

looks like they may be able to win a home game, though. they beat up the yanks and a's don't forget. i was edged by them earlier this wk, in the lohse & elarton gm. still can't figure out why they pulled elarton, he was dominating and hadn't thrown 100 pitches yet. silva is real meat.

i live in MN and have followed the twins my whole life. this years team can't hit the ball and is a great fade as a road team. it's a whole different animal at the dome. Mauer has to have every other day off, Hunter and Morneau arn't doing anything. I disagree with whoever said Nathan is a decent closer. Nathan is a top tier closer, they just never get in save opportunities. The twins are yet to lead a game from the beginning of the game to the end of the game. Lohse goes tomorrow vs. Rogers. Lohse is on the verge of going to the pen, has been horrid. I can definently see Detroit sweeping them.

And the manager is terrible -- an old school fool who is routinely out-thought.
Yet another impediment for them.
He's not going to change a thing until they are 20 games under, which may not take long.
