I am 34 years old and always feel uncomfortable shaking a guys hand. The rule I used to use was if the guy was younger than me I did the brother handshake (the one that has a 3 step process that ends with like your getting rady to thumb wrestle). Now I go traditonal handshake 100% of time unless the other guy takes control and does the brother handshake
I hate the fact that in Costa Rica you have to shake hands every five seconds with anyone you run into. I have been in rooms of 20 people and you have to shake each persons hand one by one and then you have to shake it again when you leave.
I will never understand this tradition especially since most ticos dont wash their hands when they piss or take a shit.
I don't know how many of you have been down here to visit, but I can tell you that alot of places dont have toilet paper in the bathrooms nor soap in the sink.............how'd you like to shake that hand.

Traditional handshake is one of the best ways to get sick, If you shake someone hands who just took a dump and he did not wash his hands after the dump and you go and eat without washing your hands after the handshake thats how germs get into your system.
Or if he picked his nose, sneezed or cough in his hands and then shakes your hands is another way, always wash your hands before eating following a handshake.
Thats why me and Howie Mandel prefer the the fist to fist for a greeting.
