Packers with 2 nice pickups in Hodge and Hawk .. throw in Barnett and that is one salty LB crew

NO gets Bush and picked up Brees ... wow, that is deft upgrade

Az has Leinart fall into their laps at #10 ... nice

Tenn walks away w/Young and White ... would have thunk it after the Rose Bowl?

As much as I hate them, I'd say the Eagles. Bunkley, Justice and Gilles might all start. Bloom is a much needed returner.

Green Bay had a very good draft.

Green Bay had a pretty damn decent defense last year......and now they add HAWK, HODGE, and WOODSON.

Your right, the LB crew in Green Bay is going to be prolific with the additions of Hawk and Hodge to compliment All-Pro Barnett.

Interesting how we make so much of it every year but the days of being one good draft pick away are gone. Although we highlight the skill positions, its the others that make the differences, WRs and RBs are meeting top class defenders every game, every play so that extra yard seperation isnt there.

The other amazing thing is some Organisations get it right all the time where others can have 1st pick after 1st pick and fail. The Patriots front Office are different class as is the Eagles (Owens apart, but it was too much of a lure) Titans have always played well and the Dark Horse is SF49ers, Nolan seems to have got a crew there that are on the same page and the FO are listening. :drink:

I have no opinion but I heard alot of people saying the Broncos had a great draft. I really only noticed the Browns' picks, which I think they did well.

Titans. Vince Young and Lindale White. I can't believe White slipped so low but the Titans had a great day.

and rumor has it Chief got layed from Mel Kiper touting him as a steal for
his ability to "sometimes go beyond 10 seconds in crunch time"

10 seconds? I never make it that long.

Pats ended up with some good players too who should be ready to contribute in that system

As much as it pains me to say this, I think that The JETS had the best draft. They addressed their O-Line with two quality linemen that can start for them immediately. They did not need to spend a 1st round selection on a QB as they already have one that is better than the top 3 QBs right now (maybe not after they mature but for 2006 season). Kellen Clemens is the QB they wanted all along after the combines and although he hasnt gotten any hype because of injuries, he may end up being the steal of the draft. Brad Smith has the potential to become an other Randal El.

Anyone here read that 20 page letter written to Woody Johnson last year calling for the firing of both Herm and Terry Bradway? One of their main complaints was the lack of draft picks used to help the offensive line in the last 5 years.

Well they finally did address the issue.

Ohio State - 5 #1 picks - has to help the recruiting

worst

The Trojans - don't get me wrong they have been my LIFETIME FAVORITE team - but everyone -SLID

Arizona definately got the #1 pick at #10 & the Titans got the #2 at #3 (he is still #2 even if he did get roses - that game still hurts)
