My third dime play of the season...1-1 on the season so far...but will be 2-1 after Duke beats the Cubbies...
He has already beaten them, BUT the Cubbies simply are not hitting LH's right now...batting under .200 in 9 games vs LH's. Both Doug Davis and Capuano just shut them down...I look for Zach Duke to do it again...

Heading into the bottom of the 6th he was saying how Ponson was "dealing today" and had his best stuff...etc etc...just shutting the Reds down...
Then Dunn SMOKES a HR, and Encarnacion follows with a 2nd shot...then there were two other balls smoked...
Safe to say he put the old hex-aro on Ponson...and he is not going to pitch the 7th.

Made my 5th dime play tonight on the Astros...Cards are 6-4 vs LH's this season, but 3 of the losses have been on the road...and the 4th comes tonight...
Two Redbirds have good numbers against Pettite: Encarnacion and Spiezio...and thats it...I think Pettitte will out-duel Carpenter and the Astros will get to Carp...I like the way the Astros are playing at home right now...one of the best home-teams in baseball...
