Anybody have any remedies (besides homicide)?

Thanks. I'm A bear.

Get it checked out with a doctor. You might have sleep apnea or other condition that may require treatment or surgery. Other than that sleep on your side. It might help.

On a side note, that's what i call the #8 at Hardee's. 2/3 lb thickburger smothered with mayonnaise, cheese, and bacon. Large size with curly fries and a large drink. The Reggie White special. Delicious and should come with a free angioplasty with how bad it is for you.

hey 5 team...u need a sleep study probably....I can get you a CPAP which treats sleep apnea if they confirm you have it.

No money out of your pocket buddy...look me up

Go to your General Practice doc and tell them symptoms.

If you are tired during the day, explosive snoring etc....you probably have OSA

Outstanding advice. I snored and had no knowledge whatsoever that I actually suffered from sleep apnea. With sleep apnea, I was stopping breathing over 600 times per night (unknowingly) and my oxygen level would drop to 60% (90+% is normal) and my pulse would race to 120 beats per minute all unknown to me. My body would jerk, once again unknown to me, as the organs starved from oxygen. Untreated, sleep apnea can lead directly to strokes and heart attacks in your sleep. I now sleep with a CPAP machine that adjusts automatically to keep my airway from being blocked by my tongue (obstructive sleep apnea) and I sleep quietly and soundly and receive the proper amount of oxygen and my heart rate remains normal. I cannot stress strongly enough that you should ask your doctor to have a sleep test (very simple) to make sure you don't suffer from sleep apnea. It can save your life. Common suffers are people that are overweight and those that it may be genetic (my case). My father, his father and his four brothers all had strokes. No one in my family understood why until I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am not overweight. I'm 5'11" and weigh 172 pounds. I urge you to be checked out. You won't be sorry.

I dont have time to search for the link, but about 6 weeks ago, USA Today in the Life section (purple) printed an article about some ring that can be worn to reduce snoring & sleep apnea.

The ring costs about $19 bucks and was available from a particular website.

The ring is worn on the pinky finger while sleeping and somehow is changes some nerve that causes snoring.

If you or somebody else here happens to find the link, please post.

Hope this helps.

He needs a sleep study for sure. I sell CPAPS and other sleep devices. You are probably on a respironics or Resmed machine. C Flex?

Good advice.

BTW...dont fall for pinky rings or some shit...this is a serious condition known as OSA. This is only confirmed by a sleep study.

All my durable equipment is covered at no cost to me through my HMO (Kaiser Permanente). I wear a Profile Lite Nasal Mask w/Headgear #1004112 by Respironics. I am entitled to a change of mask, tubing, and filters at no cost every 6 months.

You would have thought it was some kind of evil spring loaded mallet. Damn she knew where to land that pointy son of a bitch. I got in trouble more than once for muttering a few half(at best) awake insults after getting the elbow shot.

After 2 sleep studies and a CPAP that me and the old lady can't stand...

They are doing a UPP and taking out my tonsils etc. Heard it was painful, but hope it will be worth it. Looks like I will be eating Jello for the next week (doc say i will lose 20 pounds), GUH.

WISH ME LUCK ---
