I have starting tracking games where the % of sides is greater than 60% but the money is on the other team by 60% or more.

yesterday there were no such plays so i changed the format to over 60 % on sides but 55% or more on the other team

60-60 plays 1-0
60-55 0-3

for the early games today the pitts/cubs game is the only one that falls into this category

74% of sides is with the Cubs but 64% of money is on Pitts
Making the Pirates a play within the 60-60 category.

I will monitor the late game lines until just before gametime.

There is still a few hours to go until the evening games so the numbers on these games could change disqaulifing them for plays but as of now the plays would be

88% on Orioles yet 84% money on Jays play Jays ..60-60 play

90% sides on minny yet 58% on Seattle play Seattle .60-55 play

Shambler,
If you are using sportsbook..com to come up with those numbers, you need to go back to the site and read what is says about the money percentage.
Its not the percentage of money being bet on a team, its the percentage of money being bet on the moneyline of the game. This is 2 entirely differnt things. Its right at the top of the page. Trust me your not the first person who has thought thats what the numbers mean.
hope this helps you

thanks for the info. i have read this and know that from football but i didn't think pointspreads were used unless you wanted to buy or give a couple of runs to better odds.

where does one get the pointspread?

i just assumed that for baseball a side was straight up as with the moneyline.

how come they don't show the pointspread on sportsbook?

just when i thought i found a new angle my whole world comes crumbling down ...AGAIN...lol
