Yes, If the guy hits a homerun 14 out of every 20 AB's. I think you walk him with bases loaded unless that automatically ends the game.

If you were the manager, wouldn't you bat him leadoff then? Even if he was the slowest guy on the team?

Depends on what you have to lead-off with as options. I think 2nd or 3rd might be good.

I never liked playing softball either...the game was too slow... I do like taking BP just hacking away for a couple hours , but actually playing on a team was boring.
