Since the games are later tonight, I decided to start today's thread with some thoughts and reminders for both our veteran members, posters and viewers as well as our continuous stream of newbies that join the RX. I have a responsibility to assure that there is a clear understanding to the purpose of this thread. As many of you will recall, I decided to start this thread to track The Wise Guy Moves that I receive as quickly as possible. As this thread has evolved, I have provided both pre-lineup and final line-up information as well as pitching changes as they are provided. I have received excellent feedback that in some cases this information has helped some of our members be more successful. That has always been my goal.
That being said, I feel it is important to discuss the juice as posted by The Wise Guy Moves. No doubt, many of you have seen how difficult it is to get the price as quoted. However, there have been times that a better price is available immediately somewhere and/or just before the game, the juice may be higher or lower then quoted. Getting the right price, i.e. juice is everything in this business and can make the difference in a profit or loss. Remember, this thread is for information and I recommend using it as such. Be careful before you pay too much juice for a game that The Wise Guy Moves may have sided with. If you continuously are losing juice, you will not win over time. If you happen to like the side or total and this makes you feel more confident in the play that's great, but make sure you don't pay too much to make the play.
