You may never see this good a line on Carpenter the rest of the year. The Cards have lost 3 in a row. One thing you can expect in this spot is the Cards WILL BRING THEIR "A" GAME.
Contreras might be the best pitcher in the AL at this time. He is 4-0 with a 1.45 ERA and a WHIP of 0.86. Normally I would bet this on the run line but I've been real unlucky with those lately. so I'll hedge and take them -1.

Looks like Rolen will play tonight, I really like this play too. Pettite has not been himself lately and Carp has been as good as always

I heard the same about Roland. We probable heard it the same place. The Cards hit Lidge HARD in the 9th last night. You can bet Pujols is not a happy camper losing three in a row. I like this game as much as some of the bet against SEMO games we had in CBB this year.

The Cards miss several early opportunities to blow the game open as we split on our 2 big games. I'm slowly playing myself back to even on the year. Thursday record 2-3 (-414).
