last night: 1-5, -4.27 units
ytd: 86-96, -4.23 units

well the stay in the black wasn't long. cool.

1 unit:
Milwaukee -1 (-105)...Bonds is out, Brewers have their starting lineup in, love the fact that Hall's hitting 2nd. ask any analyst, the guy needs to be an everyday player because he's talented with the bat.

more later just gettin this out there cause it's an early game.

I really like that game. I like the way your picks limit risk. It's just a matter of time before your making positive money.

1 unit:
STL -127...Pettitte hasn't found his groove yet. He's leaving balls up in the zone every game and STL has some solid righty bats that will make him pay. Righties batting .355 vs. him right now...

Reds -121...Love the way Harang's looking right now, throw in extra motivation for the offense after being shut out yesterday. Really like Harang tonight, even at Coors. Guy has been stellar after his bad first outing.

CWS -1 (-112)...King Felix hasn't been very good this year. Contreras on the other hand is the reigning pitcher of the month. Felix got his first "win" in his last outing even though he gave up 5+ runs. Won't happen tonight if he does that.

Pittsburgh +185...To me Glavine has had one good game pitched and that was vs. ATL. His location really hasn't been that great, it's only a matter of time before hitters get to him. Velocity increase this year has helped him but Pitt. has some talented righty bats that won't fear this guy. Delgado's questionable, he's been the big RBI guy for NYM, love this play if he's out.

Cleveland -113...Saarlos has given up 11 runs (8 earned) in only 14 innings, 5 walks too. Until he proves he deserves to be a full time starter, I'm fading him. Jason Johnson knows what he's doing up on the mound. And dright now anyone could win for Cleveland the waythey're swinging the bats. Hoping the starting lineup is intact for this day game...

Boston -1 (-115)...I think I've faded almost every one of Josh Towers' starts and i'm not going to stop now. If his offspeed isn't working, he'll get crushed again relying on his fastball.

that's it for today.

tough night all around last night...my picks went 2-4....i went 4 units on the over clev/oak this afternoon.....see you had a couple of nice winners already..

see where choptalk is back posting plays....will be interesting to see if he can break out of his funk...

i took the reds last night...and as usual...i probably was a day early....i'll be on them again with you

lost with pitt as well last night.....and that team is just not worth two plays in a row...if you know what i mean...they were getting +275 last night so i gave it a shot.....

beautiful day here in boston.....think this tor/rs game goes over the 10.5....
good luck and have a quick trip back to even

yeah last night was rough, hopefully today is a 180 from that..couple games lost by a run but no reason to complain, a loss is a loss.
will def. be interesting to see how chop's season goes from here on out, alot of attention will be paid by the forum in regard to this.
let's hope the reds game cashes, i think it will, as ive said here and other threads Harang has been fantastic aside from his 1st start of the year.
Agreed, Pitt's really not a team you want to be on the same side of, but I don't think Glavine's too great, have faded him a couple times wiht mixed results.
Enjoy the Boston weather, it's nice out here in northern Indiana but my ass is staying in relaxing :drink: maybe more of those to come tonight, last night got alittle out of hand though. take it easy

Josh Towers- 4 runs given up already. Hoping Boston hangs on so i can continue to fade Josh Towers until he gets his control back.

yeah i believe so...i saw him pitch for the o's for a while, he's improved since then in soem regards becasue he relied too much on his fastball back in the day. but i think he's overrated, his control is what will help him win becuase if he can't locate and get his offspeed across the plate, batters will tee off on his fastball.
i think he will eventually pick it up, but he hasnt found his groove yet.
