Since I started keeping track of my plays I am up about 29 since April 26. This is my first year fully betting baseball so I don't know how good I am but so far I am off to a nice start. It seems like on my worse days I break even or lose less than a unit and on my best days I sweep the board. I am currently only betting 1 or 2 units per play and once in a while playing 3 unit bet. I know this nice streak can't last forever so I was thinking I should capatlize on it and up my unit size. I am currently betting $100 per unit, do you think I should up my unit to get the most out of this win steak ? I already doubled my bankroll so it would make sense but I'm not sure. Please give me some advice Thanks

How much is your betting bankroll? I am assuming atleast 5k, maybe 10k?

If I were you I would be carefull...I would have to look at your bets and W/L record to really give a good answer.

Well the day you increase your units even slightly becomes very import that it is a plus day or a couple plus days. Wait till you see a great card that you really like and be extra selective. If you are following someone then make sure you look at the plays. Say you are following J-man and know baseball too. I would keep watching and learning this years teams reading all box scores etc and bump your unit when you are comfortible with your plays or knowledgeable of the capper you follows plays. And raise it slowly. Say you bet 100 a unit go 115 and then 130. There is always the big play one time step up when you see something sweet. Say a two teamer so you make at least even money or more I would never lay andy juice in a big play. Say you have 100 units after starting with 50. You could bang a big play for 20 units then be comfortable increasing the units amount. If you lose stay at the same units amount. It has to be a sweet play. Or just raise gradually. I would recommend not raising the day after a big winning day. You or your capper tend to play the same teams or against the same teams and upsets come. You could also set a schedule. Say +20 units increase units 2% and then after another 20 units increase again.

Also one thing. Past success with or against a certain team or pitcher can make a capper stubborn. Be flexible to change as teams get better or worse not holding on to the past wins. For example It took me a month last year to catch on that Baltimore was good and start betting them. They also went in the tank late and made me some bucks on the fade. The Marlins looked great early with great starting pitching and Cabrera and Delgado but they also totaly tanked. I guess I would say keep an eye on every game and streak whether its a bet that day or not.

If you have doubled your bankroll by winning 29 units and you bet 1-3 units of $100, then you probably need to double your bankroll again to 12K for the size of your bets. Betting 1% of bankroll per bet should allow for bankroll growth with a low risk of ruin provided you pick winners at a reasonable (53/54%) rate.

I like to send it in when on a roll, and slow down when not. The trick is to maintain your confidence and don't change things when you're hot, and know when you're not.

But what works for me may not work for you. Everybody has to stay within their own comfort level.

There are several options. If you prefer equal bet size, raise or lower stakes after reaching each new plateau. If you prefer varying bet size, bet 1-5% of bankroll. Good articles about money management exist in various websites.
