For Game 6, the Spurs won't have a home-court advantage, and a scientific study shows they may actually be at a four-point disadvantage when they hit the court. Although most tend to factor in the traveling angle, I've never seen it mentioned on the nightly news.

This is a link to the San Antonio Express'/ Channel 5 online media. The video will pop up, so if you have a blocker on, you will have to temporarily disable.

Uh, does this really apply in the playoffs when both teams are facing the same thing??? I have a hard time thinking any pro athlete gets a real "biological clock" considering how much they have to travel. Then again I remember reviewing the Flyers schedule this year and they had no games for the whole season outside of the central or eastern time zone! Maybe its a small little issue to look for in the NHL because they stack the schedule a lot more than the NBA towards playing near home.
