The sky was the limit for this team just a few years ago. They were pretty competitive with MAJAOR cap room. Great young talent, decent vets who were'nt over the hill. It all looked so promising.

I will say that Veshon Leonards injury problems were way under rated. This is one of the 50 best players in the league when 100% .

Karl probably has the worst luck. He had prostate cancer surgery a while back and now he finds out his son has thyroid cancer. Imagine having the stressful job of trying to contain the attitudes of patterson, martin, camby, and melo while hoping your son is going to be all right.

They had an incredible run last year. I forget what the record was after Karl took over but it was amazing. They had to play San Antonio in the playoffs so the loss there was not a shocker.

This year they were just unfortunate to play this years World Champs in the 1st round. :drink:
