PHILADELPHIA –1 +1.09 over San Francisco
The Phillies are seeing beach balls at the moment and they’re also hot, having won six in a row and that streak doesn’t figure to end here. The Phillies have scored 39 runs in their last six games and have not been below five runs in any of those wins. You can expect much more of the same here against Jamey Wright, a guy who’s been castoff twice by the Rockies and once by the Royals. Wright got off to a decent start, however, he went 5 1-3 innings Monday and allowed a season-high 10 runs in a 10-4 loss to San Diego. Wright has allowed 14 runs and 20 hits in his last two starts and in this extremely friendly hitter’s park, against this juggernaut of an offense, chances are great he’ll do what he usually does, that being get his clocked cleaned. Meanwhile, the struggling Giants have dropped six of seven and have scored just 21 runs over that seven-game stretch. They’ll also be without the team RBI leader, Moises Alou and that’s something this invader can ill afford. Giants are going to have to score a slew of runs to beat us here and we just don’t see that happening. Play: Philadelphia –1 +1.09 (Risking 1.5 units).
