I don't remember what it was but I was watching the game on tv and saw zambrano strike out chipper jones. After he struck him out, zambrano rushed out towards the dugout as if he had ended the inning.
Braves hitters seem to have lost all discipline this year. Granted you expect a lot of the young guys to be pretty aggressive but when your leadoff hitter is hitting just over the mendoza line with a ~.300 OBP and strikes out 2 times per game, winning games is not going to be easy.
IMO the #1 thing the Braves need to do to get over this slump is start being more patient at the plate. Their pitching isn't doing great but it's surviving but with so many strikeouts and so few walks it's gonna be hard to score runs.
