ucking: We may have been a victim of Boston scoring too many runs.Going to pass on the Giants/Phillies game. I need to keep a tight ship when picking plays and such as I'm trying to cure my past money management problems.
Far too often I've played too many games when I liked one side or the other but it wasn't overwhelming and I pissed away units. I'm trying to keep the loose ends tied. We are doing good right now with my 1 or 2 favorite games a day, I don't want to mess with a winning formula.
My opinion on the game though. Rollins, Burrell, Bell have had poor results vs Matt Morris in the past (Only Abreu has had any real success against him). Lieber has absolutely OWNED Barry Bonds in the past. Alou out of the lineup will have a devastating effect on the Giants offense until he comes back. But there are other factors pointing the other way (Morris inconsistant being one of them, Phillies bullpen).
It's a no play for me, I don't see any value in anything associated with this game. If you absolutely forced me at gunpoint, the only wager I'd make is Phillies -135 and a very small lean towards the Game Total Under 9.5. But I'm definently not playing it.
