Good luck.

And you've only had 1 bad day. And who would've thought the Twins would put up that many runs this week-end?

Yes one bad day but it was huge bad day...

I can't stay away though...it kills me though knowing someone else might lose money on something I say...I know people say don't sweat it, for me it's hard not to.

All three games I lost yesterday, the teams came back strong today.

Thanks Fish, still though, I lost like 18 units, I am still up around 10, I will check it after tonight.

I can't stay away though, I love baseball too much!

Good luck with your playing but I going with the Giants +137 (got it earlier today) Lieber hasn't had one quality start yet and Matt Morris has been pitching better.

Handicap each game as if you were even or up slightly...you are a solid handicapper and should never worry about what happened the day before...or the plays before for that matter.

Just my opinion. You have to be able to shake off losses as they will occur close to 50% of the time. One day, one week, and even one month are really not worth sweating over.

Good luck tonight...although I am on the Giants, so not too much luch! :toast:

Hey buddy, I am on the Phillies as well tonight, and I have a call in to see if the Giants are gonna field Bonds. Regardless, I like Leiber in this spot tonight!!

I think Philly will stay hot, sunday night baseball to boot...Leiber has been an absolute gas can though...he was very solid last season...he's yet to prove anything this season other than he gives up a baserunner about every 3 batters.

Both these pitchers give up plenty of baserunners...I am happy to see Philly playing good ball finally.

I do that Clip, and I am doing fine personally, it's a combination of a bad losing day and knowing I cost people money that has me somewhat frustrated.

Looks good Journeyman. :103631605

"I'm with the giants as well." by Jammanxc.

Jamm seems everywhere I look, most cappers are on the Phillies tonight. Judging from the wording (as well) of your comment, though maybe I'm wrong, you sound like the Giants are the common play tonight. Am I missing something? :icon_conf

Just got a call back from a friend of mine that works at the park, he says Bonds is playing tonight.

randolph -- you're not going to call J-man's play a "costly late addition," now are you?

It might be costly...I can only try just as I always have...no one wants to win more than me, that I can assure you.

This play should probably cash -- the Giants have a really shitty offense (even w/ Bonds in the lineup), and Philly has been swinging the bats well.

Best of luck.

Also, I have a question for you -- do you usually win in baseball every year? I know you had a stellar year last year, and was wondering if that is the norm for you? Thanks!!

For some reason I have a feeling the Giants are going to put up a fight tonight. Also I like the pitching matchup with Morris and Leiber. I'm going against the grain tonight. My picks Giants +1.5 -160 and the Under 10 -125. I Think either the Phillies win this one something like 4-3, or the Giants just might avoid the sweep with late game heroics. Only way I see either bet losing is if Leiber totally shuts them down and Philly wins 8-1.

GL to everyone

Yes I do...actually the year before ('04) was better, the year before that was break even, I didn't bet baseball much in 2003 because i had a lot going on, the year before that was great (2002 my first at RX), I won all summer long, from Spring to late summer and took a big shot in Sept and lost it all in two weeks! It was well documented here, I won about 20k and lost it allwhen I decided to take some big shots and lost! I will never forget the night CF Terry Long dropped the final out for the A's, that was the beginning of my slump!

I learned a lot from that...I took my shot, and lost.

I made a mistake taking my shot and it took me 2 whole years to make it back!
