series set 11: 7-8 (-44.28 units)........... yes, you read that right...

Overall: 118-47 (+29.03 units)

not going to bother going over all 11 sets... this system, has had many wild swings and will continue to have... not for the faint of heart... a $100/$200/$400 bettor would be up over $2900 on the season...

on a personal note, i broke about even with it... and dont know where this leaves me for tomorrow... back to the drawing board..

RX Posted record: 69-99 (-2.08 units)
R/L system record: 118-47 (+29.03 units)

thats about the extent of my MLB season so far...

heading for this thread, should read 11 series sets.

I have to apologize SSI, I believe I may have caused you to lost the last two series sets as thats about the time I jumped on the bandwagon. My bad- I won't let it happen again. Seems everytime I jump on a ship - It sinks. This is a great system and it is still up 30 units on the season. I would stick with it for another week or two and see where it leaves you. However- Teams like KC and Pitt - not sure I would put them in it. They lost 14 just this past weekend for you.

yes, i know...... i was playing with house money, but not anymore.... im going to think things over, for the rest of my MLB season.. Im not going to post much about this system, if i play it or not...... its too erratic and shouldnt be played by a short bankroll or inexperienced player.. im smart enough to always cover my rear, some may not be...

I know what you mean Kruser. Whenever I jump on a capper or a system it seems to tank. Same thing happened last year in bases with bucsfan.

It also seems to me that the best systems are selective meaning that they exclude certain circumstances. SSI, do you have a record of how your system would do without KC and Pitt? Would you consider altering your system to exclude these 2 teams and possibly others if they go in the tank?

sure Q/L, KC hasnt covered on the road all year.. so every trip, mark them a loser.. they have won a game but only by a run...

i was trying to keep this 100% mechanical, i think fhemq, is playing this thing and fading some of the bad teams...

this system is so erratic, that i can no longer recommend it.. because just when i do, it drops 35-45 units in one series..

Hi pard. With all due respect when I ran last yrs numbers after game 1 there was no statistical advantage to doubling down on games 2-3. lot easier to play game 1 and thats it. I realizer that leaves one with nothing to do 5 out of 7 but every system doesent have to play every day. glad your ahead with it so far. regards heart222

I've wondered about these doubling-down systems as well. I have a system (non-mechanical) based upon bad beats called the bounce-back system that doesn't double up on the 2nd and 3rd games after a bad beat. It's too early to know how it will do.

How did the numbers do last year in SSI's system when just playing game 1?

TIA.

I would be willing to guess not very good. The whole point of the system is to get the better prices (and payouts due to larger wagers) on games 2 and 3.

I doubt the road teams won more than 50% of games to open a series, let alone by 2 runs.... Just my 2 cents.

the numbers i looked at was road teams wining game 1 when they were a dog not the rl. also i omitted k.c. ly. not great winning % around 57-58. Early in season most team can win 1 game but as you go into may and go forward many more sweeps.
