Won 3 a little over 3 units and also won GOY yesterday. You dont have to worry about seeing another GOY from me the rest of the season. Cant imagine a stronger play the rest of the season. Lets try one more time to have 2 straight winning days.

3)TORONTO -1 -123 $369 for $300 RH/JW
2)CLEVELAND -1.5 -124 $248 for $200 PB/DB
1)Giants +140 $100 for $140 NL/RO

GOOD LUCK

Thanks KOBE. I really thought the LAKERS were going to pull that out after going up 3-1.

I love Lowry, but coming off an injury, he will probably be on a pitch count. Oswalt is a beast and the team is already in San Fran waiting while San Fran has to fly all night accross country. No Alou, and most likely Bonds gets the day off...gonna be tough to win that one. Plus they are coming off a 3 game beating from Philly. Whats your reasoning for taking this play? Hope you don't mind my inquisitiveness (sp.) The other two look solid imo.

Figured I would talk baseball instead of just saying "good luck". I do hope you get another winning day though.

I AM PULLING FOR YOU CHOPPER! :toast:

QUESTION- CHOP, ARE YOU USUALLY A -1 BETTOR, IS THIS A NEW THING?

Its strickly a value play MAX. I dont think BONDS is not playing. He will be in the lineup. They are going to take every chance they can get to get him the record at home. He only takes day games off after a night game. Lowery by all reports is 100% good to go tommorow. My line was +110.
This game will be a sellout.
I know im going to hammered for what im about to say but I have lowery rated slightly above oswalt right now especialy at home in front of a sellout crowd. So +140 is nice value.

I almost took the under too.

No Journey its not new. I did -1 a hell of alot last season. My pace for -1 bets this year is less than it was last season.

This is the time of the year that the sportsbooks lines get alittle more opinionated. I could have taken Toronto with this matchup 3 weeks ago on the moneyline for almost what im taking them right now for on the -1.

Im a much bigger fan of -1 than -1.5.

Everytime I bet a runline I get reminded about how much I hate them.

I would rank Lowry right there with Oswalt, I'm just concerned about his first game back....If this was a healthy Lowry (and he may be, I just don't know) I would POUND this game.

I see where Chop is coming from on this Lowery situation. All the reports that they have released have led us to believe that Lowerey is ready to go. It brings back a similar situation that happened earlier this past week when Sabathia took the hill at home against Buehrle. Everyone was skeptical of Sabathias return, but the facts are they arent going to put a guy out there in todays high priced salary that isnt ready to go. Sabathia in his two outings since his return is 2-0 and is almost unhittable. Im with Chop on this one here. I love the fact that Lowery is getting great Value against Oswalt who over the years has been hit pretty hard by the Giants. Great Value play, lets hope Lowery is as masterful as Sabathia has been since he returned.

Best of luck

good point, i waited on CC too...he's been lights out, that was another game I would have played if CC wasn't coming off injury.

Yes teams are normally pretty protective of there starters these days more than ever. Rust may be the only side effect if any. As far as physical condition he will be next to perfect.
This is another reason for my Braves play yesterday. The Braves brought up Ramirez from the DL yesterday. He was 100%, and if Smoltz would have had any problems yesterday, Cox was going to put him in the game esentially removing the Braves pen from the game and thats always a good thing for Braves backers.

No Alou means no good pitches for Barry which means no offense. Just like I won't bet the Cubs without Lee, I wont bet the Giants without Alou. I believe he is more important than Bonds.

I wll bet some unders though

good luck. Hope you win 1-0 :103631605

You just about talked me into betting the under. I almost pulled the trigger before as a said in the previous post, and with you also feeling the same way, I just very well may do the same.

If things shape up correctly (wind, ump, lineup) the under may be my 4th 5 unit play of the year.

Good luck and nice call on ATL today.

Thanks Teaze, I agree, thats what these forums are all about. I know I dont do a bunch of write-ups on my games but I always have well thought out reasoning for all my plays. If anyone ever has any questions about why I make certain plays feel more than free to ask me why and if I have time, I will be more than happy to give reasoning.

By the way, I LOVE YOU NEW TAGLINE.

Not to mention the Astro offense is starting to show it's true colors. They were over achieving the first month or so, but after 4,0,3 in Colorado I don't look for much offense except Berkman.

This one could shape up nicely.

Which direction do you think the line will go on the total TM? Im trying to figure out if I should hit it now or later. Im not very good at predicting line movement on a total.
