Did they pay any other exotic winners the full track odds or just the one who knows about the forums?

ace, any other winners may have well known the rules that WSEX had in the past 10 years so it is not an issue to them....

everyone received the new larger PAYOUT odds....

They may have or they may not have known and been misled by the same advertisement that they got Smokey with.

The larger payoffs? Meaning full track odds?

possible, but if they made the same mistake smokey did, they need to complain about it the way smokey did, I could be wrong, but I doubt they are gonna arbirtily pay all the customers if they didnt complain.... (IMO)

I am sure anyone would have complained, but they may not have had the leverage of the forum to twist WSEX arm.

possible, they need to seek out help then....

ironically enough I first found the RX about 2.5 years ago when I was getting slow paid by a book....

in the end, I didnt need any help, but when the problem was happening, I did my due diligence......

anyone who types in 'sportsbook dispute' in GOOGLE should get plenty of options to consider...

the only mistake was the book leaving "paying full track odds" on their website. Why do you (SportSavant) continue to blame the punter?

It is actually possible that WSEX only wrote one ticket on an $11,000 Trifecta. Players don't hit that kind of payoff for a $2.00 bet alll that often.

Did WSEX have any others players bet the winning Tri? - I really don't know for sure.

no not blaming him, but expecting him to know the 10 year history of an online book's policy regarding max payouts. All the guy did was place a small wager. If I had read what he read I would not have researched further. They did the right thing which is good, but you are still trying to take sides in this.

First of all you had to hit the darn thing in order to worry about collecting. Somehow I really don't see any others hitting that trifecta. That's probably why WSEX paid it out in the first place. Limited exposure.

WVU, have you looked at the POLL?

WSEX has roughly 60% backing while Smokey has 40%

I have said since the very first moment, this is not a black & white issue, it may be to you, but with 60% of people backing WSEX, it is clearly not to everyone....

beleive me, I see SMOKEYS side, I helped him the best I could?

why are you asking me this question & not asking the 60% of people who have voted in WSEX's favor?

Its all good SportsSavant. Just your wording screeched out at me. Most people are clueless when it comes to Terms and Conditions. The average person would have never found out the max payout limits. You are a bonus hustler like me so you are not average. Either are most of the people who took part in the poll. I am surprised by the result nonetheless. I suspect envy played a part.

@ Approx. 6000/1 Doubt If

there were too many winners. WVU no one is saying he had to know the 10 yr history, just the CURRENT rules. If any player goes into any game, BJ, Sports, Craps etc. w/o knowing the rules that apply to that particular situation then they deserve whatever happens as a result of that ignorance. In this mess do I think WSex should have had some sort of disclaimer i.e. "see special rules for exotics"? YES. Was he lucky to get the full payout YES! When I was a VERY young man in a military bunkhouse and thought I had a winner in lo ball with the "wheel" which to me had always been Ace thru 5, only to find out the game was 2 thru 7 as the wheel. Since I had no one to whine to, I took my sorry ass to bed. BUT I`ve never again got in any game w/o knowing ALL the rules.

I'm Totally schocked that he got paid! And it has Absolutely nothing to do with jealousy in my case. I'm a long time horse player and am very familiar with the RULES! I think bottom line---WSEX had two reasons they paid him. A. Tired of bad mouth and B.Felt sorry for the guy.
Still Amazing about people that play horses on line WITHOUT KNOWING the rules..
