This team has some Nice talent and being in the NL West I believe they have a shot at winning it or at least contending. My over 68 1/2 is a lock but I'm starting to think I can make some money off the 18 /1 and 15 /1 to Win Division. The fact they are now winning on the road has to be a big boost to there confidence. :modemman:

They'll find a way to tank, but yeah-they have looked damn good. Time will tell if the pitching can hold up like it has so far.

Maybe it is their breakout year, but I'm not convinced yet.

YES...had best record in the west last year after july. .500 ball over final 72 games.

If they can figure out a way to throw Jeff Francis every day from now until the end of the year, yes, otherwise, nyet.

And yeah dude, unless you have the under, dont say the over is a lock, lol. Specially not at this stage.....

18-1 is a great bet now. No one is that good out West so they have a shot. 88 or so wins might do it.

.500 in the West might do it. Although the Braves are not strong enough to make that happen more than likely.

ohhh ... the infamous LOCK word in May
They would have to have a big rash of injuries for them not to get the 69 wins

if the dodgers ever got their heads out of their asses they'd run away with this division, they have solid pitching and great balance in the lineup of lefties and righties, speed and power.
i hope the rockies win though...what a story that would be

what book has them at 18 or 15 to 1 to win the division?..
I bought these a little while back, like a couple of weeks into the season. Hollywood and Royal

I found some decent plays on the other teams to hedge so I will probably have no risk on the Rockies in the long run, just a fat profit. :modemman:

Currently sat on them a 33/1 to win the Division (bet a couple of weeks into the season) so I certainly hope that you are right on this one, not counting chickens yet though...

The Giants getting Lowry back in the starting rotation and Benitez back as the closer will get them back near the top soon. They need to get Alou and Durham back in the lineup as well.

San Diego is on an impressive run and should make some noise.

The Dodgers bats have finally come to life and they will also be dangerous.

I still think Colorado ends up in last place in the West when all is said and done.

Colorado should finish around 500 but I don't believe they can keep this pace up. Starting pitching just isn't strong enough imo.

However all the teams in this division aren't very good so its possible. If I had to choose a winner though I say the Dodgers take it down. Solid starting pitching and an above average hitting lineup should be enough.

I think the Dodgers will prevail. They have a tough lineup to negotiate up and down. Good solid professional hitters everywhere. They will add some pitching if need be.

The Giants have a shot also if this Schmidt continues all year. I cannot see the Rockies getting it done, but they definately have a better than 18-1 shot. Nice catch.
