This is a continuation from my other thread that I mislabeled "QL's Wednesday MLB" that was meant for Thursday and can be found here.

CWS qualify for the bounce-back game but the Angels are throwing Escobar at them tonight so I'm laying off. Bounce-back record YTD:6-2 +2.07.

I have a couple 1-unit plays that I will be looking at more in detail so they could turn into 2-unit plays later. Record for 2-unit plays YTD:11-6 +4.92.

LAD team total over 4 -126 (2 units)
Rodriguez/Lowe
Again we have a relatively good pitcher going for the Astros. However, the Dodgers have been scoring in bunches. I have a tendency to think this continues since they have scored at least 4 runs in 5 out of their last 6 during this home stand. Dodgers are hitting well over .300 against left-handed pitching.

Det -112 over Bal
The Gambler/Bedard
Baltimore continues their slide. While Det lost 3 in a row until last night they were in each of those games. Baltimore's bullpen has insured their opponent of scoring a good amount of runs regardless of who the starter is. Bal has scored more than 3 runs only once in the last 7 games.

AZ team total over 4.5 runs -122
AZ has gone over this amount in 6 out of their last 8 games and Pitt has given up that many in 6 out of 7 of Perez' starts this year. AZ has averaged just over 6 rpg against LHP.

Adding:
Atl/Fla over 8 -101 (2 units)
Hudson/Willis
I found a diamond in the rough. Each of these teams has gone over this total in all 8 of their previous 8 games. The reason this line is so low is due to the past reputation of the pitchers.

I've found that fading pitchers with past good reputations has been profitable, especially against Pettitte. Hudson has had a couple good outings but they were only 2 out of his 7 starts. Willis started out well but has faded. The Atlanta bullpen has an ERA of 4.55 which plays well with this total.

Fla's recent o/u record is 8-0-1 while Atl's is 6-1-1.

Well we almost got Brad Lidge to give us the over in the Dodgers game but he got yanked. 2-unit plays go 1-1 with the other 2 games getting rained out.

2-unit plays YTD: 12-7 +4.90.
