Clearly, they are now have the worst defensive outfield in baseball, and have 3 hitters (williams, crosby, phillips), playing at Premiere positions, and really, those 3 have no business being in a major league batters box. Even the yanks likely have AAA guys who could perform at the same level. Horrible job not securing any decent bench players. I feel that a trade for Tori Hunter is possible, but who would they trade? Their farm system is bare.
they have that massive payroll, but its mostly sunk into overpaying some old guys. they dont have depth. the young prospects that could fill in for injuries dont exist, they were traded away.
