if you save your change at the end of the day in a jar, and at the end of each month, put it in a account that earns 5-6% interest, what kind of coin will you have in 25-30 yeras?

$.72/day = $21.6/mo for 25 years at 5% interest worth around 13 dimes, not accounting for taxes.

As always, if you say X when it comes to figures, I have learnt not to waste my time thinking you may be wrong. Always appreciate your not frequent enough posts. :103631605

What is the inflation rate over those 25 years? Look what happened between 1970 & 1995.

A buck was actually worth something in 70

I do this in fact every year. But when Xmas comes around it goes to the bank an gets counted for Xmas money. Sometimes it like 1000-1500 a year. Hard to believe but its true! It never ceases to amaze me how much that figure is everytime too.

If a 25 year plan was my goal then i'd be gambling that i
live that long, or that my world as i know it has not
otherwise radicly changed for the worse before then.
Not that that isn't my plan, necessarily, but just stating
the obvious.
