It come to my attention that there is a lot of people here that have money riding on this game. So lets all talk about the game in this thread. Right now the Padres have a 1-0 lead and it should have been a lot more. Lets hope they can keep putting up runs.

Let the kid off the hook...and lo and behold...

Ramirez made em pay!

Williams' has had some real pathetic starts in Wrigley...

Cubs hitting less than .150 wth runners isp with two outs...tough to win when you can't get the clutch hits!!

Murton is an idiot!

That run should have counted...Padres have a legit beef...once you go in there...play is live.

Williams...gone

Dave Roberts smoked a ball into the ivey in LF...Murton threw his hands up...which is the right thing to do...so its a dead ball resulting in a ground rule double...but...

He decides to reach into the vines for the ball, like some sort of retard...retrieved it and at that point the ball would be live...but the ump had already given him time and Williams had to go back to third...

Williams messed up his leg trying to score and had to leave the game...some kid named Sweeney is in now...

They have given a rookie a load of confidence...Padres could easily have 4 runs on the board right now.

Offense is their enemy but i got a feeling today.

stir...

Cubs best chance for wins... now w/out Lee is to get the game to the pen...the only strength they have. The Eyre, Howry , Dempster trio is very solid.

Padres in big trouble. Not just the leaving men on base, allowing the oppossing pitcher to double in a run with 2 outs etc...., it's losing Williams that has cost them this game. SD's bullpen is not going to be strong enough to last 8 innings, even the Cubs are going to score some runs now.

This is incorrect. Williams hurt his leg before he got half-way to third base. He could have probably scored tho.
